Tens of thousands of music fans are expected to attend the Youth Beatz festival in Dumfries this weekend, with approximately 40,000 free tickets<\/a> distributed for the event at Park Farm showfield on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The festival is recognized as the largest youth music festival<\/a> of its kind in the UK, aimed at attendees aged 12 to 25.<\/p>\n

Headlining acts include popular artists Example and Caity Baser. Organizers have urged those without tickets not to travel to the site, emphasizing the importance of ticketing for crowd management.<\/p>\n

Youth Beatz has been held annually since 2009, and despite various attempts to introduce ticket charges, Dumfries and Galloway Council has consistently opted to keep the event free for attendees.<\/p>\n

A study conducted after last year's festival estimated its economic impact at over \u00a31 million for the local community across its two days.
