The specific implications for the UK remain unclear, as it has had a digital services tax in place since 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The UK&#039;s 2% Digital Services Tax (DST) affects major search engines, social media platforms, and online marketplaces with global revenues exceeding \u00a3500 million and UK revenues surpassing \u00a325 million.
